Finally i’ve got round to putting the photos on, three new albums on the ‘World Cup Photos’ page, click on the link at the left, or on the photo below. I haven’t had time to put any captions on, so some might look a little random, will try and get them on at a later date.
So yesterday Brasil started off slowly, as they always seem to do, don’t think they really hit top gear, if that happens I think they will be pretty awesome. Today Spain kick off against Ukraine, which is a tough one to call, then Saudi Arabia v Tunisia, which i really can’t make any useful comments on! Then Germany v Poland kicks off the second phase of group games, when the tournament really starts to take shape. We’ll be heading off up to Dortmund in a couple of hours, it should be a pretty cracking atmosphere there.
Great photos Rob. They fill in the part of the world cup that TV and the newspapers miss!
So you met up with Professor Joe’s lookalike in Munich. Nice one. I’m still trying to get him to logon to the site so I have sent it to him for now.
Didn’t see you in the crowd at The Match. I bet you were glad of that 91st minute goal.

Bloody hell! This World Cup has really taken off! Bit jealous of you and Elliot Rob. The rest of Flaherty´s has resorted to planning kick abouts on the field to use up some energy. Not quite the same.
In reality the World Cup ´proper´ has only just started. Rooney is playing and Messi on the Argie bench. The two most gifted footballers on the planet take their ´belated´ bow.
Going to your apartment tonight mate to pick up some balls. Will report back if it´s still there (and your whiskey)

Great photos Rob. They fill in the side of the World Cup that you don’t see on telly or in the papers.
I see that you met up with Professor Joe’s lookalike in Munich. Nice one. I sent him a copy.
I told you that Crouchie would do the stuff! What a star header. Bet the papers will have him as the big photo again today. I sent you a copy of the Top Gun picture. Can post it on the website?
Didn’t see you in the crowd at the Germany game! Presume you wanted that goal badly to ensure a quality party followed.
PS your call on the Spain-Ukraine game was wide of the mark

Great stuff Rob. Loved the description of the no noise and then a wall of colour and sound at the big stadium. Glad you’re taking a few days out of the mele.
